For Workers:
While clocked in to a shift on the WorkWhile worker app and actively working a shift, workers are prohibited from simultaneously:
Performing services for another company.
Accepting or fulfilling requests through any other platform offering similar services.
Rationale:
This policy is in place for the following reasons:
Reliability for Users: Users expect that when a worker accepts their request, the worker is dedicated to completing that task promptly and efficiently. Simultaneous engagement with other platforms can lead to delays, cancellations, and a diminished user experience.
Safety and Efficiency: Focusing on one platform at a time allows workers to manage their tasks more effectively, prioritize safety, and adhere to our platform's specific procedures and guidelines.
Operational Integrity: Simultaneous use can create confusion in dispatch, tracking, and communication, potentially leading to operational inefficiencies and errors.
Consequences of Non-Compliance:
Violation of this policy may result in the following actions, at the sole discretion of WorkWhile:
Temporary suspension of access to the WorkWhile platform.
Permanent deactivation of the worker's account.
Commitment to Flexibility:
WorkWhile understands that workers may choose to work with multiple platforms. This policy solely applies during periods when a worker is actively logged in and performing services for pay on our platform. Workers are free to utilize other platforms when they are not actively fulfilling a WorkWhile request.
By using the WorkWhile platform as a worker, you agree to adhere to this Platform Exclusivity During Active Engagement Policy. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a positive and reliable experience for our entire community.
WorkWhile reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.
