Find workers
You can choose between 3 options to find workers for your shifts:
Smart Shift Fulfillment - our algorithms will prioritize finding the best workers based on a combination of factors, including your favorites and workers who have previously worked for your company.
Select Lists - reach out to workers from lists that you've previously created
Request Specific Workers - reach out to specific workers
If your preferred workers are unavailable, you have the option to open the shift to other qualified workers.
Once the assignment has started, the listing will be hidden from all workers. In the event that the assignment is not fully filled, the number of spots on each shift will be automatically adjusted down to match the number of workers scheduled. If you want to add additional workers after the assignment is live, see the section Backfill a worker.
View a worker
In the calendar view, click on the worker's profile box to see how many approved and pending callouts the worker has for this assignment. You can also click to see their worker profile.
Hover over the information icon to see how many hours the worker has worked for your company across all their shifts.
Remove a worker
You can remove a worker from a specific shift or from the entire assignment. This can be done in two ways:
From the assignment calendar
From the shift detail page
Fill out the form with more information on how to process the removal.
Workers will be notified when they are removed from a shift. If you don't want them to be notified, contact your Account Manager to turn notifications off.
Backfill a worker
After the assignment starts, shifts are locked, and new workers will not be able to join.
If you want the option to have new workers sign up for the assignment, you can enable automatic backfills. This will create a new listing for any upcoming unfilled shifts in the assignment.
Backfill listings can be identified by the rows marked "Finding worker"
By default, backfill is off. If you want to turn it on, contact your Account Manager.
