A quick intro to WorkWhile and what to expect from your transition

Written by Eva

WorkWhile and Dayforce have partnered to bring your flexible workforce program onto the WorkWhile platform. This hub is here to help you make the move smoothly, with everything your team needs to keep shifts filled and your account running without disruption.

What sets WorkWhile apart is our investment in the worker experience, which is what powers the reliability our customers count on. WorkWhile workers have access to ICHRA-based health coverage, free telehealth, sick leave, upskilling, and college degree support through our Campus program. Better-supported workers show up, stay longer, and perform better.

Why the transition

Dayforce is focusing its core platform on human capital management and chose WorkWhile as the preferred home for its flexible workforce customers. Through this partnership, you keep the on-demand workforce capability you rely on while gaining access to WorkWhile's full platform and worker network.

What to expect

The move from Dayforce / Ideal to WorkWhile involves a few operational updates:

  • WorkWhile becomes a new vendor in your accounts payable system

  • Billing moves to WorkWhile's invoicing cadence (four times per month)

  • Day-to-day shift posting, scheduling, and worker management happen in the WorkWhile portal

  • Your existing payment terms generally stay the same
