WorkWhile requires you to enable location and motion tracking on your phone in order to work a shift. If location permissions are not enabled, you will not be eligible to work.

We require location and motion permissions to determine your safety and estimated time of arrival to the job site as well as presence at the job site. This allows us to accurately calculate your earnings.

Location and motion permissions are only activated 90 minutes before a scheduled shift through clock out. Once you clock out, location and motion are no longer tracked.

Based on our internal testing, location tracking uses approximately 1% of battery power per hour. This may vary depending on your phone type.
