What are W-2 shifts?

The W-2 shifts you’re seeing are different from traditional 1099 shifts typically found on the WorkWhile platform. These jobs offer the potential for full-time benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans upon eligibility. To accept W-2 shifts, you must complete additional paperwork and onboard as a W-2 employee. WorkWhile has partnered with Service Workers LLC to offer the shifts seamlessly on the app.

How do I become a W-2 employee?

To unlock W-2 shifts, you will need to complete the onboarding process to become an employee of Service Workers LLC. To complete onboarding, you must fill out an I-9, have your identity documents and proof of work authorization reviewed and submit tax withholding information. Once you have completed these onboarding steps, you will be able to to accept W-2 shifts on the platform.

How do I get paid as a W-2 employee?

All W-2 shifts are paid on a weekly basis via direct deposit. Next day pay is not available for W-2 shifts. Payroll is processed on Monday for the previous Sunday - Saturday work week, and funds will be available in your bank account by EOD (End of Day) Wednesday.

Do I have to work W-2 shifts?

No! You get to choose the shifts you want to work. You may choose to work W-2 shifts, 1099 shifts or both.

Can I still get paid the next day?

W-2 shift pay is processed weekly. Next day pay for W-2 shifts is not available at this time, but you next day pay is available for 1099 shifts.

Why is my paycheck less than I expected?

W-2 shifts are subject to tax withholding. Taxes are taken out based on tax withholding information you submitted on the W-4 and state tax forms. At the end of the year you will receive a W-2 tax form from Service Workers LLC.

How can I view my Pay Stub?

Pay Stubs are available through your "W2 Everee Profile" which can be accessed through the Me page in the WorkWhile app.

How can I update my direct deposit information for W-2 payment?

Direct deposit information can be updated through your "W2 Everee Profile" found on the Me page of the WorkWhile app.
